How to edit portraits using Lightroom presets

Edit Portraits using Lightroom – video tutorial

In this video I show you how to edit portraits using Lightroom presets. This is a very quick way of editing portrait photos and works well if you don’t have access to more specialised software such as Photoshop or Portrait Professional. This method enables you to edit portraits using Lightroom by making use of several presets for the adjustment brush. These presets come with the software so you don’t need to download anything extra. With a little practise, you can edit your images very quickly and simply. Yes, you can get more sophisticated results with other methods, but this is a great way to get started with editing portrait photos if you haven’t tried before. 3 presets are used – Teeth Whitening, Iris Enhance & Soften Skin. We also make use of the Spot Removal tool. These techniques work well for any photos where a person’s face features prominently in the image.
