Southwold beach is a very popular seaside location in Suffolk. The pier at Southwold is very photogenic, also providing panoramic views of the coastline. This is a great location for landscape photographers. If you can be up early for a sunrise, you get a good view from this east-facing beach. We run our long exposure photography workshop here as well as in Cromer & Hunstanton in Norfolk. There are good car parking facilities with a pay and display car park right next to the sea front. The colourful beach huts are also worth a look and make interesting photographic subjects. Further south along the coast from the pier there is a lighthouse.
