Pricing for Profit – Focussed Professional Training

Pricing for Profit

One of the most common questions I get asked by other photographers is “how much should I charge?” People often worry about charging too much or too little. They might do a little market research and see what others are charging and then plump for something in the middle because they think it is safe. However, if you want to be a professional photographer, you need to make sure that your pricing will enable your business to make a profit in the long term. This workshop will help photographers to think in more detail about their pricing including proper consideration of overheads, market positioning, psychology of pricing, making a profit and longevity in business.

This workshop is the first of our new Focussed Professional training sessions aimed at those who already make a living from their photography and those aspiring to be a professional photographer. In the coming months we will be adding more events to help photographers run a successful business and improve their skills.

As well as looking at principles involved in pricing, you will have the chance to apply the concepts to see how they could actually affect your business. Find out just how much you are really making per hour at your current rates. Discover if your pricing matches your profit aspirations and your target market.

If you are hoping to earn money from your photography and aren’t sure how to price yourself then this is the workshop for you. I will help you delve down into the figures to make sure that you have a solid business instead of working your socks off for less than minimum wage.

Stop guessing at pricing and learn how to price for profit.
