Introduction to Portrait Photography – take great photos of people
Our introduction to portrait photography covers the key ideas that you need to start taking great photos of people. Whether you are hoping to be a professional one day or you want to take better photos of your friends and family, this workshop will equip you. We will be working with a high quality local model to help you build your confidence and your portfolio. You will learn what things can spoil a portrait photo and what you can do to get the best results.
You don’t need a special camera or lens for this training session. Ideally you will own a DSLR or similar, but this is not essential. If you have any questions about camera equipment please make sure to ask us before booking. It would be helpful if you have some idea of basic camera skills such as those learned on our beginners photography workshop. We will be happy to advise you if you are unsure.
