Do you wish you could understand your camera better? Would you like to know how to improve your photography quickly and simply? Our beginners photography lesson covers the basics of camera controls and composition for those new to photography or wanting a refresher course. You will learn what can get in the way of a photo being as successful as you want it to be. With more control and understanding you will be able to create more interesting images and get less frustrated. Become a better photographer faster with expert tuition to help you on your way.

We will be taking a leisurely stroll around Norwich, photographing some of the key landmarks. Along the way you will have the chance to put into practise each idea as it is taught. We build up step by step to boost your confidence and skills. Any camera is suitable for this workshop. But you will be able to get a little more out of it if you have a camera that allows you to control the aperture (e.g. a Nikon with “A” mode or Canon with “Av” mode). If you are at all uncertain whether your skill level or camera is suitable please do ask before booking.
The session involves a gentle walk. Please check with us before if you have mobility problems that might make this difficult. Final details will be emailed to participants a few days beforehand. The meeting place may differ slightly from the location advertised (though it will be nearby). Please ensure that we also have a contact phone number in case there is a problem with email. If you are buying this as a gift for someone, please ensure they are able to attend and have a suitable camera (tickets are not normally refundable – please see terms & conditions for further details). In the event of bad weather such as heavy rain we will reschedule.
There are no more than 6 participants in the group so there is plenty of opportunity for everyone to ask questions and interact with Joe. Places must be booked and paid for in advance.
