Beginners Photography Workshop Norwich - Pulls Ferry

One of our recent students on a beginners workshop said; “I thought the pace of instruction with time to practice excellent. It had all the content I wanted to cover in a beginners course… Overall this was a small amount of my time well invested, I am already getting better pictures and consequently more enjoyment.” (Maggie)

You will be able to make rapid progress as we work with a maximum of 6 participants. So, everyone has time for questions and to get their images reviewed by Joe. Each aspect is carefully explained and demonstrated. You then have time to try it for yourself and get feedback. Any type of camera can be used for the beginners photography workshop in Norwich. You will get more out of the session if your camera allows you to use Aperture Priority mode and to choose your own focus points. All DSLRs can do this and most bridge cameras can too. You don’t need to bring lots of equipment. A general purpose lens such as the kit lens that came with your camera will be fine. If you want to be able to experiment more with aperture then I would recommend considering a 50mm f/1.8 lens – but this is certainly not a requirement.

We will be making the most of some key landmarks in the beautiful city of Norwich. Some walking is involved so please do get in touch if you are uncertain if this may be a problem for you. Similarly, if you are not sure if your camera is suitable please do get in touch and we’ll try to help.

Please make sure to give us your up to date contact details as we will email you a few days before the workshop with the final arrangements. It also helps if we need to re-arrange due to bad weather. Places are limited and you need to book in advance using the form below. We look forward to working with you.
